New or thinking of visiting?

We feel honoured that you are thinking of visiting us because we
know that checking out a church can be a big thing.

Our Welcome Team members are right there at the front doors to
help you feel comfortable. There will also be someone at the
‘Welcome Centre’ if you would like more helpful information and
literature. They are also very willing to give you a quick tour to help
you get oriented.

‘Kids Church’ for ages 0-6 starts just before service with
check-in located in the lobby. We also have a room off of the main auditorium for nursing moms.
‘Kids Church’ for ages 6-12 will be dismissed after joining us for some worship in the main auditorium. Please visit the check-in desk prior to service starting to sign them in. You can find out additional information about our children’s program here.

A normal service starts with upbeat live music that you are more
than welcome to sing along with. Expect God to meet you right there
in a life-giving way – because He does care for you!

Our time of music is followed by a few quick announcements of
upcoming events. Then Pastor Todd will share a Biblically based
message which is sure to instruct and inspire. The service is usually
over by 11:30 at which time you can grab a coffee in the lobby or
stay and enjoy a few more minutes to contemplate as the live music
continues. This is also an excellent time to receive prayer if you
would like.

Our ‘Welcome Centre’ will also be open at the end of the service as
well to answer any questions you may have. We hope you enjoy
your time with us!

A brand new life awaits…so Let’s Go!

What is Alpha?

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith.

Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Alpha is run all around the globe, and everyone’s welcome. It runs in cafés, churches, universities, homes—you name it. No two Alphas look the same, but generally they have three key things in common: food, a talk and good conversation.

Food

Whether it’s a group of friends gathered around a kitchen table, or a quick catch-up over coffee, food has a way of bringing people together. It’s no different at Alpha. All sessions start with food, because it’s a great way to connect, relax and build friendships.

Talk

The talks are designed to engage and inspire conversation. Each talk is around thirty minutes long and given as a live talk or played as a video. They explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions from Who is Jesus? and How can we have faith? to Why and how do I pray? and How does God guide us?

Discussion

One of the most important parts of any Alpha: the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and discuss in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything and there’s nothing you can’t say (seriously). It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly and open environment.
